- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent required
- 5+ years of litigation and regulatory legal practice experience
- Experience in a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work preferred
- 8+ years of litigation and regulatory experience highly desired
- Based in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA with willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise domestic and international disputes and risk areas, including worldwide competition
- Directly engage with government officials, including regulators
- Direct overall case and matter strategy, including selecting and managing outside counsel
- Assess risk and coordinate with senior leadership on risk management
- Provide advice and counsel to internal stakeholders on a broad spectrum of complex and often novel legal issues

Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience in complex domestic and international business litigation, particularly in antitrust matters
- Trial experience and counseling parties and witnesses in a variety of pre-dispute and dispute resolution contexts
- Broad experience advising on domestic and international competition litigation and regulatory issues
- Federal judicial clerkship preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to advise senior executives
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in ambiguous environments
- Sound business judgment and common sense
- Familiarity with Internet, software, and/or media industries and their legal and regulatory environment
- Strong team player with ability to work efficiently with paralegals, assistants, other lawyers, and business clients
- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
- Experience in crisis management and response

Salary Information:

- Compensation based on cost of labor across several US geographic markets
- Base pay ranges from $123,100/year to $229,000/year, depending on market location and job-related factors
- Total compensation package may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, as well as full range of medical, financial, and other benefits
