Summary:

KPMG, a top-ranked company known for its inclusive culture and commitment to individual development, is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join their Office of General Counsel (OGC) in the Litigation group. In this role, you will provide legal support for civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and other legal proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with outside counsel and other OGC members to deliver high-quality legal representation for the firm.

Responsibilities:

- Provide counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation and regulatory proceedings
- Develop and implement strategies to successfully defend litigation claims and investigations
- Supervise outside counsel and collaborate with OGC members to ensure high-quality legal representation
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in the US
- Experience in defending complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations, preferably in accounting or financial institutions
- Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects and deliver high-quality results on time
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and client-service orientation
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

- Salary ranges vary by location and are determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, and experience
