Salary Range: $99,000 - $173,000 (California), $108,000 - $145,000 (Colorado), $95,000 - $147,000 (Washington), $95,000 - $145,000 (Remote)

Job Overview:

Moss Adams, a values-driven accounting and consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services team. As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to advise clients on a variety of tax services, oversee tax strategies, and develop relationships with clients. This is a full-time position located in Walnut Creek, CA, with the option to work remotely or in our San Francisco office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual, and trust and estate tax services.
- Oversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through networking and business development activities.
- Provide clients with in-depth industry knowledge.
- Ensure that Seniors and Staff are up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
- Provide leadership and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
- CPA or Bar License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience.
- Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
- Prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills required for managing multiple client engagements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
