The Associate Corporate Counsel will join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper, a constellation of satellites providing broadband connectivity to underserved communities. This position requires a . degree and 2+ years of legal experience as an attorney. The successful candidate will work with the Kuiper commercial Business Development and Operations team, negotiating agreements and providing legal counsel on business operations. This position is based in Redmond, WA with some domestic and international travel required. We are open to hiring candidates in multiple locations within the US.

Key Responsibilities

- Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements for strategic partnerships and enterprise customers
- Provide legal counsel to business leaders on various issues related to business operations
- Develop creative strategies for handling legal issues and implement processes to address risk and allow for flexibility and quick decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations and enthusiasm for technology

Required Qualifications

- . degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
- 2+ years of legal experience as an attorney

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams

Compensation Information

- Base pay ranges from $105,200/year in our lowest geographic market to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market
- Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
- Total compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits
