A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for their office in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions. They will handle investigations before various agencies such as the . Department of Labor, the California Department of Industrial Relations, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and other state and local human rights agencies. The candidate should have experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board regarding matters related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations. Additionally, they will handle employment litigation in federal and state court.

Duties:

• Defend federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.
• Handle investigations before . Department of Labor, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and other human rights agencies.
• Appear before the National Labor Relations Board for matters concerning union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
• Manage employment litigation cases in federal and state court.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Education & Certifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
