The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience, preferably in complex securities litigation, and possess a financial or SEC background. This role involves working on teams to prosecute complex cases involving federal securities law violations, leading in various litigation activities, and providing legal advice to clients.

Duties:

  • Work on teams with other attorneys to prosecute complex cases involving violations of federal securities laws.
  • Take leading roles in briefing and arguing motions, document and deposition discovery, and client communication.
  • Coordinate with colleagues on all litigation aspects and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to securities litigation.
  • Assist in case strategy development and implementation.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in securities litigation.
  • Prior litigation experience in complex and/or class action cases.
  • Strong desire to work in complex securities litigation and shareholder rights.
  • Top-tier law school graduates are preferred.
  • High academic achievement from an ABA-accredited school.
  • Law Review and/or federal court clerkship experience a plus.
  • Financial or SEC background preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work for the leading firm prosecuting securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional and individual investors.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.
  • Any additional certifications relevant to securities litigation are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
