The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of patent litigation experience, active membership in the State Bar, and a commitment to excellence in the field of intellectual property law.

Job Duties:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of patent litigation cases and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with superior writing skills.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff to build effective working relationships.
• Utilize analytical skills to address complex and detailed legal matters in the field of patent litigation.
• Engage in legal research and stay current with industry developments.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials to represent clients effectively.
• Assist in the development and execution of case strategies and litigation plans.

Job Requirements:

• A strong technical or scientific background.
• For candidates in life sciences, preference for advanced degrees.
• Candidates with technical backgrounds, preference for degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or closely related fields.
• 3-4 years of patent litigation experience.
• Active membership in the State Bar and compliance with CLE (Continuing Legal Education) requirements.
• Excellent academic credentials, demonstrating a high level of competence.
• Enthusiasm for working within a team-oriented environment and contributing to effective team relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
