Meta, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented attorney to join our privacy legal team as a Lead Counsel for AI Privacy. This role offers the opportunity to be a subject matter expert on a range of issues related to artificial intelligence and to work with our product, business, and legal teams on emerging requirements and laws.

- Work on cutting-edge products and advise on privacy risk in light of emerging laws and policies
- Serve as a company expert on global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations
- Help respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with product and business teams in a fast-paced environment
- Build a future beyond the constraints of screens and distance

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

- Serve as a company expert on global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations
- Intake, assess, and help execute plans for complying with new AI laws
- Help respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI
- Provide legal advice and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders
- Minimum qualifications: . degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar, 5+ years of legal experience, experience with AI technologies and global privacy laws
- Preferred qualifications: Experience working on AI-powered products, experience working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment, experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing complex projects

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base salary for this role ranges from $167,000/year to $233,000/year, with additional bonuses, equity, and benefits.
