Lenexa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a business transaction attorney with 5 years of experience in matters concerning business and commercial transactions, including contract drafting and negotiation, purchases and sales of a closely-held business, business entity formation; real estate purchases and sales; general asset transfers; preparation of stockholders' agreements and other equity agreements. The candidate drafts, edits, and counsels clients on business succession plans, contracts, and commercial transactions. Works independently and as an integral part of the Firm's business succession planning team for high-net-worth business owners under the direct supervision of another attorney (s) within the Firm, while observing confidentiality in all client and Firm matters. Maintains membership in the Kansas State Bar and completes all required Continuing Legal Education requirements on an annual basis. Follows the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State of Kansas and complies with all requirements of the Firm's professional liability insurer. Performs quality work on a timely basis and provides outstanding client service. Exercises discretion and forward-thinking decision-making capabilities to draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other services that accurately reflect business requirements while minimizing risk.
