Job Overview:

The Trademark Attorney will be responsible for handling trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, disputes, enforcement actions, and may also work on copyright and advertising matters.

Duties:

• Manage trademark clearance, prosecution, and maintenance processes.
• Handle trademark disputes and enforcement actions.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on trademark-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop trademark strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on trademark law issues.
• Assist with copyright and advertising matters, as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensed or ability to become licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Desire to work within a close-knit team environment.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Experience:

• 4+ years of active practice as a trademark lawyer.
• Experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, disputes, and enforcement actions.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure to practice law in North Carolina.
