Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with auto claims organization to advise and consult on coverage matters, high exposure claims, and complex legal issues
- Oversee litigation against the company, conduct risk analyses, and assist with litigation of bad faith claims
- Represent Progressive's interests at mediation, arbitration, or in court when needed
- Perform coverage analysis in multiple jurisdictions

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree and admission to the bar of at least one state
- Minimum of six years of legal experience, including complex civil litigation or related corporate experience

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with complex auto insurance coverage and analyzing and litigating bad faith claims
- Ability to proactively engage with business partners and understand business goals and metrics
- Sound understanding of the litigation process and ability to create effective legal strategies

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive salary of $109,300 - $156,100 per year
- Gainshare bonus up to 40% of eligible earnings based on company performance
- Participation in restricted stock units plan

Location and Work Environment:

- Remote work available with occasional travel to Progressive offices and court proceedings
- Must be willing and able to support customers in Georgia
