A law firm is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney for their Los Angeles office. The Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney will join the firm's dynamic and established practice representing premier local and national employers. The role involves handling a variety of labor law matters, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges
  • Assist with collective bargaining negotiations
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on labor relations issues
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda
  • Prepare and present cases before administrative agencies and courts
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy and preparation
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in labor relations

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
  • Outstanding academic record preferred
  • 5+ years of labor law experience, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
