As a Trial Attorney, you will have the opportunity to handle cases involving all areas of tort practice, with a focus on moderate to severe injuries and damages. This is a virtual position, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere in the San Diego/Inland Empire/OC area.

Responsibilities:

- Handle cases involving moderate to severe injuries and damages, including preparation of legal documents, attendance at hearings and trials, and other tasks necessary for proper representation of clients
- Assist other attorneys in handling assigned cases
- Supervise attorneys who are assisting with assigned cases
- Consult with and provide opinions to the Claims Department on insurance policy and legal matters related to personal injury claims
- Keep supervisor informed of case progress and any issues encountered
- Maintain and update computerized litigation support systems for assigned caseloads

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Law school degree and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Minimum of three years experience as an Attorney, including civil jury trial experience or equivalent dispositive ADR experience
- Ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and complexity with minimal supervision
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to handle high case loads in confrontational situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Location:

- This is a virtual position with cases venued in San Diego and coverage for Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties as needed
