A law firm in Santa Monica is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney. The successful candidate will have the immediate opportunity to handle substantial litigation matters and should possess a demonstrated track record of successfully executing legal strategies in various litigation events. With 8-10 years of experience, the Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney should have proficiency in depositions, motion practice, trial, arbitration, and hearings, along with prior experience in advocating for clients. Some exposure to real estate or commercial construction litigation (excluding defects) is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Take on substantial litigation matters immediately.
  • Successfully execute legal strategies in depositions, motion practice, trial, arbitration, hearings, and other key litigation events.
  • Advocate for clients with a focus on commercial litigation matters.
  • Handle real estate or commercial construction litigation (excluding defects).
  • Produce witnesses for depositions.

 

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • Law firm experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in legal strategy execution and client advocacy.
  • Some experience in real estate or commercial construction litigation (excluding defects).
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 

Skills:
