The Supervising Attorney for Southern California will be responsible for managing a team of attorneys in the Los Angeles area. This is a virtual position, open to candidates throughout Southern California, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including an annual bonus potential of up to 20% of the salary. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of attorneys in the Los Angeles area - Assign cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels - Train attorneys to improve their level of expertise - Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned - Inform the Managing Attorney of any case activity problems - Supervise maintenance of computerized litigation support systems - Prepare and submit reports as required - Consult with the Claims Department on insurance policy and legal questions - Handle cases of greatest complexity and/or exposure - Functionally supervise other attorneys as needed - Perform other duties as assigned Physical Environment: This role can be performed virtually or in an office setting. The work environment may include normal distractions, noise, and interruptions. The role may require sitting or standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. The role may also require listening to and interpreting auditory information, visually verifying and reading information, and operating a computer for extended periods.
