About the Team
- Legal team provides key support for TikTok's innovative initiatives
- Global headquarters in Los Angeles and Singapore
- Offices in New York, London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo
- Seeking experienced legal professional to join Global Legal Content Moderation team
- Full-time role can be based in Los Angeles or any other United States-based location

Responsibilities
- Lead on Trust & Safety Product matters within Global Legal Content Moderation function
- Work with Trust & Safety Product teams and in-house lawyers to provide legal advice
- Assess regional and/or local content regulations and laws, develop compliance strategies, and support implementation
- Advise senior management on content safety and moderation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content safety, moderation, and regulatory matters

Qualifications
- Qualified to practice law in the United States
- 5 years of legal practice experience, with focus on product legal compliance, content moderation, content regulation, and/or online safety
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across multiple business units, organizations, and jurisdictions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and cultures

- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation Information
- Base salary range for this position is $240,000-$376,200 annually
- Additional bonuses and incentives may be available
- Total Package includes base pay, bonuses, and benefits
