The ideal candidate will engage in a dynamic mix of litigation, consulting, and transactional work, with a preference for prior private practice experience. Strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and interpersonal abilities are essential. The position encourages candidates with at least 1 year of experience in employment, immigration, and/or fair housing practice areas, as well as those with 2+ years of other litigation experience.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a blend of litigation, consulting, and transactional work in the field of employment law.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on employment-related matters.
  • Represent clients in employment-related disputes before administrative agencies and courts.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other transactional documents.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed about developments in employment law.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in an employment, immigration, and/or fair housing practice area(s).
  • Alternatively, 2+ years of other litigation experience.
  • Prior employment in private practice is preferred.
  • Solid academic credentials.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
