Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level IP Associate Attorney with 2 years of in-house or law firm patent prosecution experience. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Chemical Engineering (.), Chemistry (.), and/or Organic Chemistry (). They must be admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and possess excellent academic credentials. Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters
• Collaborate with clients, inventors, and internal teams to understand and assess inventions
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and due diligence related to intellectual property
• Assist in patent litigation matters, as necessary
• Draft legal documents, opinions, and correspondence

Requirements:

• 2 years of in-house or law firm patent prosecution experience
• Degree in Chemical Engineering (.), Chemistry (.), and/or Organic Chemistry ()
• Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
• Excellent academic credentials
