Duties:

• Conduct legal research on labor and employment matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings related to employment disputes.
• Take depositions from witnesses and parties involved in cases.
• Serve as second chair in trials, assisting lead attorneys with case strategy and courtroom proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on employment-related issues.
• Assist with case management, including organizing documents, scheduling, and maintaining case files.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, focusing on California law.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
• Experience conducting depositions and representing clients in administrative hearings.
• Familiarity with trial procedures and the ability to serve as trial's second chair.
• Federal clerkship experience is highly desired.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
