Position Summary

- Seeking experienced tax specialist with federal/tax and partnership tax compliance background
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide client consultation
- Refine skills by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, and more
- Deliver value to clients involved in public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, and more
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and work with Up-C clients on an ongoing basis throughout the year
- Develop understanding of public monetization transaction process and create technology focused on federal income tax principles for partnership tax
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients and identify service opportunities
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation

The Team

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS service offerings are developed and built to deliver results for clients
- NFTS service lines provide tax planning for the largest organizations across all industries
- In the Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line, professionals counsel partnerships on federal tax and issues involving Up-C, mergers, acquisitions, and more
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, technology, healthcare, and more

Qualifications

- Ability to work in hybrid work model, requiring in-person work 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience in fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%, based on work and clients served
- Accreditation preferred: CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
