Tax Senior - Business Tax Services - Federal/Corporate Tax (Central Region Office Locations)

Job Summary:
- Strategic and creative federal tax professional
- Solving complex federal tax issues across multiple jurisdictions and countries
- Providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to large global and dynamic midsize clients

Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns and related work papers
- Coordinating with client’s tax and finance departments for tax planning and compliance data gathering
- Researching federal tax legislation to understand impact on compliance and consulting
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns

Team:
- Dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds
- Provides expertise to clients to integrate tax strategy into their business operations
- Assists with global tax challenges and transforms tax department for greater impact and efficiency
- Offers a spectrum of business tax services for public and private companies

Qualifications:
- Ability to work within hybrid work model (in-person 2-3 days per week)
- 3+ years’ experience in federal taxation
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, CFP
- Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Experience with ASC740
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills

Salary:
- Wide range of factors considered in compensation decisions
- Estimate of $63,420 to $126,620
- Eligible for annual incentive program
