Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly qualified Patent Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience, particularly in the areas of 5G, Wi-Fi, artificial intelligence (AI), processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. An Electrical Engineering degree or its equivalent is preferred. The candidate must be registered with the United States Patent Trademark Office ("USPTO") or eligible to register, admitted to and in good standing with the Bar, or be eligible to waive in.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution activities in various technology fields, including 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Analyze and interpret complex technical documents and data related to patent applications.
  • Draft and file patent applications, responses to office actions, and other documents with the USPTO.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic counseling to clients regarding patent matters.
  • Conduct patent searches and patentability assessments.
  • Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive patent protection.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Experience in patent prosecution related to 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Registration with the USPTO or eligibility to register.

Education and Certifications:
