A law firm in Denver is seeking a Mid-Level Public Finance Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in public finance and/or real estate finance. The ideal candidate will assist in various public finance matters involving state and local governmental entities, nonprofits, and public-private partnerships.

 

Duties:

  • Handle public finance matters for governmental entities, nonprofits, and public-private partnerships.
  • Draft transaction documents such as trust indenture resolutions, loan agreements, and closing certificates.
  • Assist with the review of due diligence materials.
  • Draft securities disclosure offering documents, including limited offering memorandums and official statements.
  • Provide legal counsel on public infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in public finance and/or real estate finance.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar, or eligible to waive in with UBE score.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Colorado Bar, or eligible to waive in with UBE score.

 

Skills:

  • Experience in public finance and/or real estate finance.
  • Strong drafting skills for transaction documents and securities disclosure offering documents.
  • Ability to review due diligence materials effectively.
  • Legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
