Duties:

• Handle a caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution.
• Independently address equitable distribution, child custody, and support issues as they arise.
• Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in mediation, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• Experience practicing family law.
• Strong understanding of Virginia family law statutes and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
