A law firm is seeking an Attorney to join its team in Fairfax. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Civil Litigation and Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. The position requires the candidate to be a licensed Virginia Associate lawyer.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and assistance to the Civil Litigation and Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and assist in case preparation for litigation matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in case management and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.

Requirements:

• Licensed Virginia Associate lawyer.
• Prior experience or a strong interest in civil litigation and workers’ compensation cases.
• Strong understanding of Virginia state laws and court procedures.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia as an Associate lawyer.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Knowledge of civil litigation and workers’ compensation laws and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and court representation.
