The ideal candidate will counsel clients on various renewables projects, focusing on facilities operations and power purchase agreements. Knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management are preferred. Additionally, candidates must possess a portable book of business.

 

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on energy-related matters, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
  • Assist clients with smart grid and energy storage initiatives.
  • Review and negotiate power purchase agreements.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
  • Robust renewables experience.
  • Portable book of business.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar.
