Meta is seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Counsel to join their Ad Sales Legal team. In this role, you will provide legal support to the Global Business Group and Small Business Group Americas sales teams. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary legal advisor for the Americas Sales teams, including North America and Latin America
- Develop resources, trainings, and guidance to address legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy inquiries from Sales and advertisers
- Analyze product terms, policies, and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Sales and advertiser communications and go-to-market launches
- Coordinate with other Legal teams to align on goals and objectives for the Global Business Group and Small Business Group

Qualifications:

- . degree and active membership in at least one . state bar
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including at a law firm or in-house
- Knowledge of legal frameworks for data-driven advertising and regulated/restricted goods
- Experience advising on legal and regulatory issues related to online advertising, mobile platforms, social networking, or other technologies
- Ability to manage legal risk across multiple jurisdictions

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with mobile application development, software development, machine learning, or other internet technologies
- Previous in-house experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with executives and C-suite members
