TikTok is looking for a Senior Content Moderation Counsel to join their fast-growing legal team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on critical challenges in the areas of content safety, moderation, and regulation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on content safety and content moderation strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compliance strategies and support their implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead on Trust & Safety Product matters within the Global Legal Content Moderation function.
- Provide legal advice and support to Trust & Safety Product teams in the US and globally.
- Assess regional and/or local content regulations and laws, and develop compliance strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on content safety and moderation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including government affairs and communications, on content safety, moderation, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified lawyer in good standing in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of legal practice experience, with a focus on product legal compliance, content moderation, content regulation, and/or online safety aspects.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across multiple business units, organizations, and jurisdictions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information:
- Base salary range: $228,000 - $357,390 annually.
- Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
- Base pay is one part of the Total Package, which also includes additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
