The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) is looking for volunteer legal interns for Summer 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for law students to gain an understanding of immigration law and procedure related to removal and deportation issues. Interns will have the chance to work with Immigration Judges, observe Immigration Court proceedings, conduct legal research, draft Immigration Court decisions, and write bench memoranda. The Court is flexible to different work schedules and interns will work under the supervision of Department of Justice attorneys.

### Qualifications
* Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
* Prior knowledge of immigration law and criminal law is helpful but not required
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, independent work environment
* Successful completion of an FBI background check
* United States citizenship
