**Insurance Tax Manager**

As an Insurance Tax Manager, you would be responsible for advising clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You would help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.

**Requirements and Preferences**

Basic Qualifications:

- CPA or Member of the Bar
- 4+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master Degree
- Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries
- Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments
- Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance
- Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs
- Considerable experience as a team leader
- Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor
- Preferred familiarity with a CRM system
- Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements

**Overview**

As an Insurance Tax Manager, you would be a part of PwC’s Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services. You would help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You’ll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
