Job Title: Senior Counsel
Salary: $148,000 - $247,000 annually

Scope of Job:

- PowerFlex, a subsidiary of EDF Renewables, is seeking a Senior Counsel to support their fast growth in the on-site renewable energy business.
- The role will focus on distributed generation Solar PV Energy, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle Charging and related hardware and software technologies.
- The Senior Counsel will work closely with leadership stakeholders and internal business teams to review and draft contracts, lead negotiations, and manage the company's legal needs.
- This position is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of PowerFlex's offices.

Responsibilities:

- Review and draft various contracts related to PowerFlex's business throughout the United States.
- Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage work streams for inter-company coordination.
- Provide legal support and serve as the main point of contact for internal business and management teams.
- Develop and refine legal systems, contract templates, processes and playbooks.
- Manage workflow and provide reporting on all relevant activities.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree and member of a State Bar Association (preferably California).
- 3-10 years of legal experience in relevant fields, preferably in renewable energy, distributed generation, technology, construction, project finance, or energy.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Self-starter who can complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and other Office products.
- Proactive approach to organization.

Compensation:

- The pay range for this position is $148,000 - $247,000 annually.
- Eligible for PowerFlex's comprehensive Health and Welfare plans.
- Total compensation may include an annual performance bonus or other incentive compensation.
- Consideration of qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.
