Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to fill the position of Senior Associate Attorney or Junior Partner-Level Litigator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general commercial litigation, creditors’ and/or debtors’ rights, fiduciary litigation, and real estate or administrative disputes. Additionally, candidates with a portable client book and licensed to practice law in Maryland are preferred.

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Experience practicing law with a focus on litigation.
  • Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated business development skills, including bringing in new clients or a portable client book.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
