Duties

  • Led and managed mergers and acquisitions transactions for healthcare clients, with a primary focus on the acquisitions of physician and dental practices.
  • Provide legal representation and counsel to behavioral health providers, addressing their unique transactional requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate transaction documents, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and successful transactions.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in healthcare and private equity to provide informed advice to clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in Colorado.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Proven experience working with private equity funds and/or healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge or interest in behavioral health transactions is a plus.
  • High level of academic achievement throughout law school.
  • Previous law firm experience is required.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Colorado State Bar Association.
