Job Overview: A law firm in Woodland Hills, CA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Labor And Employment Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in employment and/or wage and hour law, with a demonstrated ability to conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and effectively represent clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on labor and employment law issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support as needed

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in employment and/or wage and hour law
• Experience in business litigation and/or general litigation is advantageous
• Proficiency in filing pleadings with State and Federal courts
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
• Admission to practice law in the State of California
• Graduated from an accredited law school with a GPA of or higher

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research methods and databases
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
