The PTPA Manager is responsible for providing financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and overall strategy assistance to the internal finance function of PwC. This role requires up to 20% travel and involves managing a team of problem solvers, coaching and developing staff, and upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. The PTPA team provides tax compliance and planning guidance to partners and principals across the US, and the Manager is expected to have a strong understanding of individual tax compliance and planning for executives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience and certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar. A Master's degree is preferred. This role also requires strong technical skills, project management abilities, and a track record of success as a tax technical business advisor. identifying a broad range of planning issues that are applicable to the partner and directing them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance;

building and maintaining trusted client relationships at the executive level;

researching complex individual tax issues;
leading on-going change and leveraging new technology;
demonstrating success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships;
demonstrating knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment;
innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions;
working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients; and,
