A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney for their Raleigh office. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney will primarily handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation cases. Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools is required, and previous federal clerkship experience is a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
  • Meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Previous federal clerkship experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
