A law firm in Wilmington is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Plaintiff Mass Tort Intake Attorney to focus on national multi-district cases and catastrophic single-event cases involving consumer products and/or medical devices. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating the merits of potential cases, maintaining significant client contact, managing a sizable docket, and handling various tasks related to client intake, document drafting, and file organization.
 
Job Details:
• Focus on national multi-district cases and catastrophic single-event cases.
• Evaluate the merits of potential cases.
• Conduct significant client contact.
• Manage a sizable docket of mass tort cases.
• Provide relevant research and draft complex legal memoranda.
• General client intake, including daily client communication.
• Draft claim submissions and plaintiff fact sheets.
• Draft client correspondence.
• Maintain client information databases.
• Review documents and reach out to clients for missing information.
• Order and organize medical records.
• Manage and direct an assigned team of intake specialists.
• Provide periodic reports and updates to senior management.
• Maintain daily organization of a high-volume docket.
• Document, organize, and prepare files for submission.
• Undertake additional projects as assigned.
 
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in taking mass tort depositions and handling related cases.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in mass tort litigation.

Skills:
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Showcase strong research and problem-solving skills.
