A law firm in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an Attorney to provide legal counsel and support in areas such as Estate Planning, Business Law, and Trusts and estates. The Attorney will be responsible for advising clients, drafting legal documents, managing caseloads, and contributing to the firm's efficiency and development.

Job Details: The Attorney will:

• Meet with and advise clients via telephone, in person, and video on various legal matters within the firm's practice areas.
• Review, prepare, and supervise the preparation of legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, business contracts, deeds, leases, and LLC and corporate formation documents.
• File and provide advice to clients on trademark applications.
• Manage a caseload of Estate Planning, Business, Probate, and Trust Administration cases with varying degrees of supervision.
• Perform legal research to assist clients in case evaluations and strategies.
• Attend non-contested hearings on behalf of clients in probate court.
• Communicate with the Principal Attorney, Senior Attorney, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case handling.
• Contribute to increasing firm efficiency and the development of processes and procedures.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• A Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Empathy and a strong desire to help others.
• A license to practice law in California after passing the Bar exam.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience and comfort with various technology platforms, such as Wealth Counsel, Practice Panther, Decision Vault, Lawyaw, and others.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an attorney in the areas of Trusts and estates, Business Law, and/or Tax Law (related to Trusts and estates and businesses).
