A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Litigation Attorney with extensive experience to represent clients in arbitration and trial processes in District and/or Superior Court. The candidate will provide legal advice on personal injury issues, develop case strategies, and resolve cases through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.

 

Job Details:

  • Represent clients throughout arbitration and trial processes in District and/or Superior Court
  • Provide legal advice on personal injury issues
  • Develop personal injury cases by reviewing investigative findings, reports, and medical records
  • Complete case preparation including drafting legal briefs and developing strategies
  • Maintain case progress and enforce productivity and quality standards
  • Resolve cases through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial
  • Improve quality results through process evaluation and implementation of changes

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Admission in good standing to North Carolina State Bar
  • Admission in good standing to South Carolina State Bar preferred

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA accredited law school

 

Certifications:

  • Admission in good standing to North Carolina State Bar
  • Admission in good standing to South Carolina State Bar preferred

 

Skills:

  • Extensive NC plaintiff’s litigation experience
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Case management and trial preparation abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

 

Experience:

10+ years of NC plaintiff’s litigation experience required
