Supervising Attorney - Southern California: This position is responsible for managing a team of attorneys in the Southern California region for Farmers insurance company. The role involves supervising and training attorneys, handling complex cases, and providing assistance to the Managing Attorney. Experience Requirements:
- At least two years as a Senior Trial Attorney or comparable outside experience
- Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located
- Previous management experience or demonstrated management aptitude
- Experience handling cases with high exposure and complexity

- Bachelor's degree required
- Law school degree required

Salary Information:
- CA Only: $131,040 - $190,100

Responsibilities:
- Assign cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels
- Train attorneys to improve their level of expertise
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned by the Managing Attorney
- Communicate any case activity problems to the managing attorney
- Supervise maintenance of computerized litigation support systems
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Consult with the Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claim questions
- Handle complex cases, including preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs, attending hearings and trials, and performing other tasks necessary for proper representation of clients
- Functionally supervise attorneys who are assisting the Supervising Attorney
- Perform other assigned functions

- Extended periods of sitting or standing
- Occasional reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 10 pounds
- Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time
