Supervising Attorney - Southern California: This position is responsible for managing a team of attorneys in the Southern California region for Farmers insurance company. Salary Information:
- CA Only: $131,040 - $190,100

Responsibilities:
- Assign cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels
- Train attorneys to improve their level of expertise
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned by the Managing Attorney
- Communicate any case activity problems to the managing attorney
- Supervise maintenance of computerized litigation support systems
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Consult with the Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claim questions
- Handle complex cases, including preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs, attending hearings and trials, and performing other tasks necessary for proper representation of clients
- Functionally supervise attorneys who are assisting the Supervising Attorney
- Perform other assigned functions

Physical Environment:
- Open office working environment
- Normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions
- Extended periods of sitting or standing
- Occasional reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 10 pounds
- Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Law school degree
- Member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located
