A law firm in Cupertino, CA, is seeking a highly experienced IP Litigation Attorney with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in intellectual property law, particularly in handling complex litigation cases involving patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

Duties:

• Lead and manage all intellectual property litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on issues related to intellectual property law, infringement claims, and relevant case law.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals to gather evidence, prepare witnesses, and present compelling arguments.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on intellectual property matters, including risk assessment, settlement negotiations, and enforcement strategies.
• Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and industry trends to provide informed guidance and representation to clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE degree) is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in California and in good standing.
• 12-16 years of experience practicing law, focusing on intellectual property litigation.
• Strong background and understanding of mechanical engineering principles and technologies.
• A proven track record of successfully handling complex IP litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE degree) is required.

Certifications:
