Job Description:
- Support sales team in North America in negotiating commercial agreements with customers
- Assist with contract negotiations in EMEA and APAC regions
- Coach sales teams on deal structure and negotiations
- Lead negotiations for Flexport's trade finance offering
- Advise various business teams on risk, negotiation points, and agreement structures
- Collaborate with multiple departments to close deals
- Central point of contact for new and updated agreements with customers
- Support negotiations with vendors as needed
- Assist in improving customer contract intake process
- Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner for the company

Requirements:
- JD and bar admission in any US state
- 5+ years of professional experience in-house
- Experience negotiating ocean freight contracts and knowledge of logistics and transportation preferred
- Understanding of commercial contract law
- Willingness to learn about logistics and international trade
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust with personnel at all levels
