Job Duties:

  • Proactively manage family law cases from inception to resolution, including client consultations, case preparation, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients by delivering monthly status reports and conducting weekly case reviews to address client concerns and inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for practice improvement and recommend effective strategies to practice managers.
  • Utilize practice quality software to manage performance metrics, track accomplishments, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while upholding ethical and professional standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
  • Successful passage of the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on family law cases.
  • Proven experience as a 1st chair family law attorney, capable of leading cases from start to finish.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical programs and software as needed.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills with a focus on family law.
