Tax Senior - National Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group

Salary Range: $77,070 - $175,500

Experience: Minimum 2 years in federal partnership tax

Department: Operational Partnership Services (OPS)

Job Description:

- Work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that mean the most to them
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, financial products, oil & gas, green energy, real estate, consumer products, and more
- Deliver value to clients going through public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, client executives, and capital market professionals
- Assist clients with public offering transactions, including initial proxy and registration statements for Up-C and SPAC structures
- Work with Up-C clients on an ongoing basis throughout the year
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process, including tax receivable agreements
- Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes, and oversee complex tax computation projects for clients
- Determine and solve complexities with the . federal income tax impact of public offerings
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance various Deloitte initiatives

Qualifications:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, requiring in-person work 2-3 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- One of the following accreditations (or in the process of obtaining): CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, CFP

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree (MST, JD, or LLM)
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience

- Refine skill set by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
