Overview:

SunPower is a leading solar development company offering a broad array of energy solutions for both residential and commercial customers. They are currently seeking a Corporate Counsel to join their dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative legal team. This is a full-time remote position with a competitive salary range of $131,560 to $236,808 per year, depending on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and support for project finance and structured finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements and related documents.
- Ensure compliance with financing arrangements and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage legal budget.
- Assist with other legal matters as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- JD and current member of at least one state bar.
- 3-7 years of experience in structured and/or project finance, preferably in the renewable energy space.
- Broad functional understanding of project and structured finance.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to balance legal issues with business risk.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior in-house legal experience.
- Project management skills.
- Team player with a passion for SunPower's mission.
- Knowledge of SEC filings and disclosures.

Salary Information:

- Base pay ranges from $131,560/year to $236,808/year, depending on geographic location.
- Additional forms of compensation may be provided, such as annual bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
