Position Summary:

- The Legal Counsel Unit provides legal advice and representation to state agencies, boards and commissions on a daily basis, including advising agencies on their duties and powers and representing them in administrative and employment proceedings.
- The Assistant Attorney General in this position will appear in state and appellate courts, as well as adjudicative hearings before various agencies and state bodies.
- Strong writing skills, oral advocacy skills, and experience in contract review and employment law are required for this position.

Qualifications:

- Applicants must be a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma with at least five (5) years of professional experience in the practice of law.
