Job Overview: The law firm seeks a skilled Labor and Employment Attorney with at least 6 years of experience in a law firm setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing cases, effective communication and negotiation with opposing counsel, and presenting motions in court. The candidate will also possess strong analytical, research, and writing abilities. Deposition experience is considered advantageous. An active membership in the California Bar is a mandatory requirement.

Duties:

• Manage labor and employment cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on labor and employment matters.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel to reach favorable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various labor and employment issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing law in a law firm environment, focusing on labor and employment law.
• Proven track record of successfully managing cases and achieving positive outcomes for clients.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Experience conducting depositions is preferred.
• Active membership in the California Bar.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
