Duties:

• Handle whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures, as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax law and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and LLM in Taxation from accredited institutions.
• 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in tax litigation, preferably with a focus on controversial matters.
• Proven track record of success in tax court proceedings.
• Familiarity with whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures is advantageous.
• Strong academic credentials, including a robust academic record.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
