Job Overview:

The Patent Agent will collaborate with clients on cutting-edge technologies to secure patent protection and cultivate intellectual property portfolios. They will handle patent application drafting, filing, and prosecution, as well as provide support for various patent-related analyses and litigation.

Duties:

• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications for clients
• Conduct due diligence, landscape analysis, freedom-to-operate analysis, and validity assessment
• Support patent litigation efforts
• Draft responses to patent application rejections from USPTO and other Patent Offices
• Interact professionally with internal and external clients of all levels
• Collaborate effectively within a global professional team
• Establish and maintain internal practices, procedures, and technology for patent-related coordination and filings
• Demonstrate advanced writing skills for clear communication with clients
• Manage multiple tasks and projects, meeting deadlines under pressure
• Adapt to changing work priorities and assignments
• Think creatively and exercise good judgment in decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• 2 years of experience in patent prosecution preferred
• Registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
