Job Title: National Tax Technical Senior Manager - Corporate

Salary Information:
Compensation range:
- California: $131,000 - $260,000
- Colorado: $140,000 - $215,000
- Washington: $130,000 - $211,000
- Remote: $130,000 - $215,000
- Annual discretionary bonus potential

Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years tax professional experience
- Experience in a public accounting or law firm
- Experience in tax due diligence and merger and acquisitions tax consulting preferred
- Experience coaching and managing a team including the technical development of tax professionals

Job Description:
- Serve as a trusted tax technical resource for the firm
- Drive resolution of complex tax technical matters with high levels of uncertainty and risk
- Collaborate with individuals at all levels within the firm to identify and develop opportunities for tax technical services
- Lead technical tax research and communicate findings
- Manage projects and provide coaching and development to team members
- Facilitate development and delivery of tax technical training
- Develop internal and external written tax communications
- Evaluate implications of new tax law changes and provide recommendations to tax leadership
- Conduct technical research related to tax positions taken
- Participate in internal and external activities to gain visibility and recognition within a technical specialization

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with emphasis in accounting or a related field preferred
- Advanced degree in Taxation highly desired
- CPA or Bar License required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous circumstances
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
